Vaughan, ON Fire Department Hazmat #1041
The Vaughan Fire Department’s new SVI-built Hazmat features ample storage, featuring eight compartments within the heavy rescue-style aluminum body and four additional compartments, accessible from the roof via the rear stairway. The truck touts OnScene Solutions’ heavy-duty aluminum cargo tray slides, including a 1,000-lb. rated deep transverse slide, built exclusively to house two 450-lb. decontamination tents. The truck also features a crane, rated for 1,000 lbs. The department chose Command Light’s KL series KL405A-LF light tower with 66,600 lumens and backlight capabilities.
