Houston, TX FD Heavy Rescue #884
When Houston Fire Department needed a new Heavy Rescue, they knew to call SVI Trucks. Their new strong-bodied aluminum apparatus is mounted on a Gladiator ELFD 20-inch raised roof chassis and houses a Cummins ISX12 500-horsepower engine. The new Houston Fire Department apparatus features an Onan Protec PTO 25kW generator, a Command Light CL615-MH2 8,000-watt light tower, a small forward walk-in change area, and two Weldon Vista IV interface displays.
