When spec’ing its new Heavy Rescue, Port Coquitlam, BC (CAN) Fire Rescue chose a 22′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Spartan Metro Star LFD 10″ raised-roof chassis, which houses a Cummins L9 450 HP engine and Allison 3000 EVS Transmission. This walk-around apparatus comes with an Onan Protec 20k-watt PTO generator system, Command Light Knight Series light tower, OnScene Solutions heavy-duty aluminum cargo slides and compartment LEDs, Carefree Mirage lateral arm acrylic patio awning and much more.
