When spec’ing its new Rescue Pumper, the Loveland, CO Fire Rescue Authority went with a 18′ aluminum SVI-body mounted on a 10” raised roof Spartan Gladiator chassis, which houses a powerful Cummins L9 450HP engine along with an Allison Gen V-E transmission. This pumper is home to a Waterous CMUC20 two-stage pump, a FoamPro 2001 foam system, an Akron Brass 8800 Series Gen 11 3″ deck gun, an Akron Apollo lift-off-style deck monitor, a TFT XG18VL-PL telescoping Waterway and a FRC PumpBoss PBA401-D00 pressure governor.
