When spec’ing its all-new Type 4 Wildland Engine, Loveland, CO Fire Rescue Authority chose a 12′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Freightliner M2 4-door chassis, which houses a Cummins L9 350 EV engine and Allison 3000 EVS 5-speed automatic transmission. This pump-and-roll apparatus comes with a Darley HSE 250K diesel engine pump that can be controlled from inside the cab, as well as a FoamPro 2001 Foam Proportioning System, a 750-gal. Poly water tank, OnScene Solutions compartment lights and aluminum heavy-duty cargo slides and much more.
