When spec’ing its new medium hazmat, Orange County Fire Authority chose an 18′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Freightliner M2 4-door chassis, which houses an L9 Cummins 350 HP engine and Allison 3000 6-speed transmission. This Medium Rescue apparatus comes with an Onan 8,000-watt diesel-driven generator, dual-side Carefree Apex lateral-arm acrylic patio awnings, HiViz Guardian surface-mounted scene lights and much more.
