Greensboro, NC Air/Light Support Unit #1137
Built on a 22′ aluminum SVI body, Greensboro NC Fire Department’s SVI-built Air/Light unitis mounted on Sutphen’s first 36″ 2-door chassis, which houses a 450HP Cummins X12 engine and Allison 4000 EVS transmission. This support unit also features Bauer’s first-ever mobile 6600 PSI compressor system, accompanied by two Bauer CFS5.5-3S fill stations, a Bauer filtration system on slideout tool board and 14 air storage units. Finally, a Command Light Knight Slim light tower and rear, curb and streetside roll-out awnings round out this rehab unit.
