Franklin, TN Heavy Rescue #1055
The Franklin, TN Fire Department will take possession of its new well-equipped Heavy Rescue built by SVI Trucks. The department chose a Spartan Gladiator LFD chassis with a 10″ raised roof and a Cummins L9, 400HP engine for the 20-foot aluminum body to ride on. This is a feature-packed unit with an electric cable reels, low-pressure air hose reels, a Command Light CL Series light tower and OnScene LED compartment lighting and cargo slides. The Heavy Rescue also features a Hurst hydraulic power unit combined with a high-pressure hydraulic hose reel.
