Columbus, OH Walk-In Heavy Rescue Fleet #1196-1200
When spec’ing its new Heavy Rescue fleet, the Columbus, OH Fire Department chose an 18′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Sutphen Monarch 73″ chassis, which houses a Cummins X12 455 HP engine. These walk-in apparatus feature a cab/body walk-thru connection complete with folding bench seat and storage compartments. The rescues are also equipped with an Onan Protec 25,000-watt PTO generator, Hannay electric cable and hose reels with power rewind, OnScene Solutions heavy-duty aluminum cargo slides and much more.
