With more than 2 million residents, Clark County is the most populous county in Nevada where the CCFD responds to more than 140,000 annual calls. When speccing a new air/light unit, the department chose an 18′ aluminum SVI-body mounted on a Freightliner M2 112 chassis. With a powerful 450HP Cummins L9 engine, this mobile air resource brings SCBA refilling capabilities, utilizing a Bauer three-position filling station, and features a refrigeration unit, onboard lavatory, power awning and much more.
