Athens Township (MI) Heavy Rescue #1131
When spec’ing its new Heavy Rescue, the Athens Township (MI) Fire Department chose an 18′ aluminum SVI body mounted on a Spartan Gladiator 20″ raised-roof chassis, which houses an L9 Cummins 450HP engine. This rescue apparatus comes equipped with a Chelsea heavy-duty transmission driven PTO, 12V Multiplex Control Center, OnScene Solutions heavy-duty cargo slides and LED compartment lighting, aluminum slideout vertical tool boards and much more.
